Volunteer at SAOCS

Our little school began in community. It all started when parents, with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake in hand, stood around after the liturgy and conversed about their children’s schooling. We shared our worries about problems we saw, and our hopes and aspirations about providing the best possible education to our children. It grew out of a community of people who love their Christian faith, who see the infinite value of their Church, and who have no intention of leaving their children without a proper foundation in what is most important.

It is a miracle to see how much our school project has grown. With the Grace of God, we have seen it evolve from an idea into a promising and exciting vision. The enthusiasm about what we can achieve for our children and for Scotland grows with every step. We have a long way ahead of us still if we are going to see this school well-established to the Glory of God, bearing the fruit of which it is able. We can only do this together.
