Mrs. Georgina, a keen gardener, came to the school to plant various bulbs, small plants and seeds into pots in our school garden. Children discussed the various types and assisted with filling the pots with soil and doing the planting. They then created labels for the various plants. They discussed what the plants need to grow and Mrs. Georgina gave them instruction for how to continue to care for these plants going forward. These are placed on the school grounds so children can observe the development of their work. We look forward to colourful blossoms come Spring!
